Mr. Phuc reiterated Vietnam’s longstanding position that all disputes should be resolved by peaceful means, in accordance with fundamental principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, including respect for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of countries, without using force or threatening to use force.

Vietnam supports and is willing to participate in the joint efforts of the international community to provide relief to the people, as well as promote dialogue, and seek a lasting peaceful solution on the basis of conformity with the law, international relations, especially respecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, meeting the legitimate interests and concerns of all parties,” Phuc said.
