On June 5, social activist Trinh Ba Phuong, who has reported on the developments in Dong Tam to the public in the most positive way, posted on his personal Facebook about an unexpected incident in Dong Tam “state officials with two cars of with tarpaulins and offerings to Thuong Lam pagoda, My Duc district to conduct special worship.”
News said the worship started in the afternoon of June 5 and is expected to last for 2-3 days. The people said that the letter of the worshiper shows that the police, judicial and forensic authorities were involved in it.
Phuong hypothesized: “Could it be that the fear and obsession after killing Le Dinh Kinh caused the officials involved [in the brutal attack on Jan 9] to come there to conduct the worship?”
According to Mr. Phuong: “Right after Jan 9 when Mr. Kinh was executed in his bedroom, there were mysterious natural phenomena. The elderly said that the country welcomed the Lunar New Year Eve with hail, thunderstorms, thunder and lightning. After that, there continued hail in the Northern provinces, devastating large areas of crops, houses … In the South, the coastal areas with drought, in Tien Giang, people do not have water for daily life and crops. While the disease was raging, the hearts of the people who were resentful and invaded outside invaded …
These successive events are also an omen for the end of a communist dynasty ruling the people with guns, and batons. And so are the people involved to the death of Kinh spending a large amount of money to buy votive paper, hiring monks to pray for them.

1. There are people who think that the crime in which they killed Mr. Le Dinh Kinh was too cruel and brutal, causing them to fear retribution and punishment from the gods, so they went to the communal house, praying and bribering the god and Buddha to ask for mercy …
But try to ask: Is God or Buddha accepting bribes from evil people and forgiving them? Some communist leaders had tried to donate big sums and valuable items but they couldnt avoid death.
2. Someone said that they were afraid of the spirit of Kinh, who would return to punish them, so they tried to pray and make huge contributions to pagodas in exchange of being forgiven from their victim. However, Mr. Kinh was not corrupted while alive so they could not persuade him now.
3. Someone said, they committed crimes and organized worship to request their victim for forgiveness, and after being forgiven they continue to commit other more serious crimes.
So many detained residents of Dong Tam, those were arrested on Jan 9, will be brought to the court with serious accusations. It is expected that they will give them hard sentences so they use worship to deal with Kinh’s spirit.
Mr. Trang concluded: “Increasingly, state officials and party members from low to high levels are superstitious, praying everywhere, showing that they have no faith in atheist communism at all but request help from evils and god.

Another account named Tam Nguyen commented: “They feel unsafe after committing crimes so they conduct worship to seek for forgiveness, however, god will not forgive them.”
An account named Quynh Chi shared Mr. Phuong’s post with a comment: “If you have not killed people, your face is red. Aftr killing people then your face will become sad and yellow.
This is also a lesson for those who hold guns. Guns are property assigned to you by the people to protect the people and protect the country. If you use guns to protect the people and point out against enemies, people will love you. Pointing your weapons at an old man with broken legs in his bed cannot have good end for you!”

It is stupid because after causing a crime, doing bad things, they dont know what to do so rely on stupid acts to bribe god and their victims.
Their worship then just lost money unfairly, just cause more karma, environmental poisoning, the more severe the punishment!”
Moreover, Mr. Dung emphasized that June 6 is also the International Environment Day.
